Gotta Love the Rain

For the last three or four days it has decided to rain,

Therefore yestuday instead of regular activites we went to rainy day schedule i.e. like wet play in school, which consisted of dogdgeball in the morning, watching a film in the afternoon, then capture the flag against the oaks in the evening, however because of this the kids hadnt quite got rid of their energy, meaning that when it came to my first night on my own in charge, it took FOREVER to get to sleep, arrgghhh.

We also had the joys of shower night last night, which was hilarious as you have to actually put the shampoo on the kids hair for them to make sure they put it on!

Overall the kids are quite nice tho, 7 of them, two of which are from puerto rico, i know i should know where that is, but i really have no idea! Even have one who is obsessed about being tidy because he thinks hes allergic to mulch!

Anyway, its my day off today and have nothing to do really but chill out and watch football! yay!

hey tim!

im so glad your getting on okay! sounds like your having a whale of a time! i missing talking to my msn buddy so i thought i'd drop you a note! let me know of any camp gossip and i'll keep you posted on this side of the pond. i've finally made it home to lichfield after leaving hull yesterday (a whole 2 months late!) England got knocked out of the world cup today which was gutting. i don't know how much you saw of it, but in hull every single street and every single car had a flag hanging from it!
whilst in other news, i almost had a thing with fran and i also failed the year.
All the best!

ooooooh hello hello! this is emma btw! I hope everything is going well. it sounds as if it is, i am jealous. or i would be if u ddnt have to look after children. this woman i work with has a proper phobia of children and if she sees a lot of them then she has a proper panic attack! weird huh! anyway it is soooooo hot here at the mo, apparently a level 3 heatwave, shocker! except the sun doesnt seem to be out at all, just muggy hot hot hot. i just got back from my hols in centre parcs which was fun, and now it is back to boredom and work. this is a terrible 'Blog comment' but forgive me, i didnt know what a blog was until i saw philip and fern's show today! i'll do better next time. unless u put up a blocker which stops me writing to you cos i'm so bad. did u manage to watch the football. it was sad as a pie. have a fab time, and i hope u r having a good independence day!lots of love, em xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
